The York bed features a custom-designed vertical slat wood bed system with a built-in headboard, floating nightstands, and integrated globe lighting — combining classic craftsmanship with modern utility.

Key Features:

Design & Materials

• Headboard: Full-width, floor-mounted vertical slat paneling in white oak veneer with a natural matte finish. The vertical grain adds a timeless architectural rhythm, giving the space height and texture.

• Platform Bed Frame: The bed is crafted from the same oak material, with wide borders and low cylindrical legs, forming a clean, grounded silhouette.

• Modularity: The system is customizable — clients can select headboard width, height, panel finish, and bed size (King, Queen, or custom).

Floating Nightstands

• Integrated: Each side of the headboard features a wall-mounted nightstand drawer in matching white oak. These appear weightless and sculptural, offering discreet bedside storage.

• Custom Options: Drawer dimensions, hardware style, and hidden power integration are customizable.

Integrated Lighting

• Sconces: Two brass-mounted globe sconces with white frosted glass are symmetrically installed above the nightstands. Their position ensures ambient and task lighting for reading or mood setting.

• Placement: Sconces are mounted directly onto the wood slat paneling, with concealed wiring for a seamless, cord-free appearance.

• Finish: The brass tone adds warmth and sophistication, pairing beautifully with the oak’s natural hue. 

Optional Electrical Integration (not visible but possible)

• Although no outlet is currently shown, this design can be enhanced with:

   

  • Black or brass round flush outlets beneath nightstands

  • USB/USB-C ports within drawers

  • Touch or dimmer switches built into drawer faces or panel edges
