The Lenny Silk Cashmere pendant has a handcrafted bamboo frame sheathed in hand-woven dark silk-cashmere that leaves the upper and lower portions of the pendant uncovered to heighten the illumination it emits. The fabric, sourced in Afghanistan from a company that employs local women to knit shawls, is tied to the frame by hand. The textural quality of the woven shade filtering the emitted light to cast dreamy patterns on surrounding surfaces. The fixtures are “handmade” in the truest sense of the word so longer lead-times may apply and slight variations in the profiles of each pendant may exist.
