This evocative photo of Canter's Deli was captured on March 24, 2022, featuring a 1967 Pontiac GTO owned by legendary DJ Rodney Bingenheimer. A Hollywood icon, Rodney has been a staple on late-night radio since 1976 and is known for frequenting Canter’s Deli, often parking nearby after his shifts. On this rare foggy night, he parked in front of the deli, creating a stunning scene with the glowing neon marquee illuminating his car. Shortly after this, Rodney lost his driver’s license, making this one of the last times he drove his beloved GTO—a moment frozen in Hollywood history.
